Policies

ORDERING

You can place your order using our secure on line ordering system that is available 24 hours, phoning in your order between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, or faxing your order to us. All orders that will be requiring expedited shipping will need to be called in by 12:00 p.m. to insure it will be shipped out that day. All orders are processed in the order they received and we cannot guarantee that your order will go out on the day it is order but we do our best to ship your order the same day you order it.

SHIPPING

GENERAL SHIPPING

We provide the following delivery options:
      Within the United States:
           UPS Ground. Next Day Air, 2 Day Air and Saturday Delivery are available at additional charges
           FedEx Ground. Next Day Air, 2 Day Air and Saturday Delivery are available at additional charges
           USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Services

     Canada and all other foreign countries
           The only option available is FedEx. (Priority, Economy and Ground are available.) The shipping cost calculation
           DOES NOT include brokerage fees or Canadian duties and taxes which are collected by FedEx

Please note, USPS cannot provide specific tracking information (such as with UPS or FedEx). Should any issues arise with your shipment, you will need to contact the U.S. Postal Service. Although we will do our best to provide shipping information, we cannot take responsibility, issue credits, or provide refunds for damaged or lost products during transport when shipping via USPS Priority mail.

Please keep in mind the following:
We do our best to process all orders on the day that they are place, but cannot guarantee that your order will ship on the same day you place your order. All orders placed before 12:00 p.m. (noon) CST will take be processed that day and shipped as soon as possible. If your order will take more than 1 business day after you place your order we will do our best to notify you of the delay. Most orders will be received within in 3-5 business days for domestic order and 4-10 business days for foreign orders (any delays in customs are not included in this time frame) from the day the order was placed.

If you need your order expedited (Next day air or 2 day air) you will need to call or fax in your order by 12:00 p.m. CST to insure that the order goes out that day.

UPS and FedEx do not deliver on Sunday and will only deliver on Saturday for an additional fee. If you will require Saturday delivery please call us.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping charges are calculated using UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping tables are based on package weight and size, delivery distance and shipping method. Shipping charges are computed at the time we ship your order to make sure your are getting the lowest price and fastest delivery possible. The website does not have the capablity of doing this for all areas. If you have any question or concerns please call or email us and we will give you an estimated cost. Shipping by expedited shipping will increase the cost.

Each order will have a $5.00 handling fee

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS and DELIVERY INTERCEPTIONS

UPS and FedEx charge for address corrections and delivery interceptions of an additional $12.50 fee. If you enter your address incorrectly when placing an order and we are billed for an address correction, we will in turn charge your credit card for all associated fees the carrier bills us.

TIMELY DELIVERY

We cannot issue credit or refunds for orders not deliver on specific dates unless (1) you notified us that you needed the order by a certain date AND (2) the order is shipped via UPS or FedEx Overnight or 2 Day service (except as noted below). Because delivery time for orders shipped by ground delivery methods vary from state to state, no guarantees regarding dates can be made. If you absolutely need your products on a certain day, please let us know and we will do our best to advise you regarding the most appropriate method of delivery.

PAYMENTS

All orders will be paid for in full prior to shipping. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover for on line orders. Any special ordered items will be paid for at the time the order is placed.

BACKORDERS

Unfortunately sometimes an item that you order may be out of stock. We will contact you as soon as possible if your order contains a backordered item. You will then have a choice to:
1) To ship your order complete when the item comes in.
2) To ship the items that we have in stock and the backordered item when we receive the parts in (you will incur additional shipping charges if you choose this option.)

RETURNS

All merchandise that is being returned must receive authorization from Recreational Motorsports prior to being returned and must be done so within 30 days from the invoice date. Returns must be received within 15 days of authorization. The customer is responsible for the shipping the merchandise back and any charges that may incur. All returns are subject to inspection for determination of refund. No refund will be given for the shipping or handling fees. Returned merchandise must be unused and in resalable condition and have a copy of the original invoice. No returns on special ordered items. All refunds will be given in the form of store credit.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If you receive your order and there is any damage, please indicate this when you sign for the shipment. Keep the shipping carton and contact Recreational Motorsports immediately. Any damaged shipments must be reported within 10 days of delivery.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Refused shipments are subject to a $20.00 restocking fee plus any additional charges incurred by Recreational Motorsports from the shipping companies.

CATALOG CONTENT

We reserve the right to change pricing and/or style of parts at any time without notice and without further obligation.
We reserve the right to discontinue an item at any time without notice and without further obligation.

PARTS INSTALLATION/FITMENT POLICY

Snowmobiles can be dangerous. Recreational Motorsports has no control over the use of any part. Recreational Motorsports expect the customer to exercise good judgment as to the proper selection, installation, use and maintenance of any part. Recreational Motorsports assumes no responsibility for damage or injury of any kind because of misuse, improper installation and improper application of any parts in any way by any person.

BRAND NAMES

Brand names are used as reference only. Some part numbers used or mentioned, are also used as reference only. Our intention is that our product can be used on our customer’s vehicles. Not products in our catalog are made as replacement part by or with the permission of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

DEALER APPLICATION

Applications are available by contacting Recreational Motorsports. We reserve the right to refuse dealer set up to any account that does not meet dealer requirements.

DISCLOSURE OF ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

To protect the Credit Card holder’s privacy, Recreational Motorsports will not disclose any information about the Credit Card holder’s transaction to any person, except as follows:

  • As necessary to complete tractions;
  • To verify the existence of the Credit Card holder’s financial institution or to a credit bureau;
  • To comply with government agency or court orders;
  • To Recreational Motorsports employees, auditors, other Service Providers, attorneys or collection agents in the course of their duties;
  • To persons authorized by law in the course of their official duties;
  • Or if the Credit Card holder gives us written permission.
