THIS KIT WORKS WELL FOR YARD RIDING AND TRAILS
The Key to more Speed on the Arctic Cat ZR200 and Yamaha Snoscoot is 3 things.
1. Reduce friction in the drivetrain. (Track clips and Graphite Hifax #NL FAST 200)
2. Clutch alignment. (Use our alignment tool and shim kit #CLT 200)
3. Gearing. (New belt drive sprocket upgrade)
RPM x Gearing = Speed
All Cat and Yamaha 200’s come with a 6000 rpm Rev-Limiter to protect the engine from damage and SHOULD NOT be disconnected, so the best way to see more Top Speed is to change gearing.
To INCREASE SPEED, we have developed our New 200 Speed Gear Kit, the sprockets are built from a quality 6061 T6 aluminum and Nickle plated for long lasting durability. The kit comes with a new Top and Bottom sprocket that uses your OEM belt.
We increased the gear ratio from the OEM 2.95 to a 2.38 which will increase Top Speed by 6+ mph if all the above items have been done to your sled.
Note Driver Wt and Snow conditions will change top speed results.

Customer Review: I am beyond impressed with the 200 gear kits. I ordered 2 of these when they opened up the preorder. My kids sleds are 2020 Yamaha Snoscoot 200's. Last year they both did the same mph. We wanted to gain some speed. Called Scott and his team at Rec motors and they were beyond helpful. I installed the gear kit, graphite hyfax, track clips, and aligned the secondary clutch on one sled. Took it out next to the stock one and it was way faster in a bean field with not much snow.
