Recreational Motorsports has taken a great ski and made it better.
The C&A Pro mini ski is the most popular ski used by 120 Sno-X racers, but it does have a few drawbacks, like arm fatigue and darting in deep snow or the manmade sugar snow that is at most tracks, especially for the young racer. Our new RACER CUT ski mod has addressed all these problems.
1. The standard C&A ski has a higher spindle bolt hole location then the OEM ski, add a wear bar to the ski and you have some serious ski pressure. Our fix was to machine a groove in the keel so the wear bar will set 1/3 lower into the ski.
2. Next we shortened the rear of the ski 1 ½ inches and reshaped the rear of the rear keel for easier turning.
3. Finally, we machined most of the front keel off and redesigned the approach to a nice point that progressively gets bigger to reduce darting in heavy snow and reduce arm fatigue.
This new combination has been tested for the past 2 year by many top racers with good success.
