The weak link on the 200 chassis is the bulkhead area especially when installing bigger engines which allows for more speed and higher jumps.
After taking a good look at the problem, we realized adding more material to the sides of the bulkhead just covered up the problem and didn’t fix it, so we set our sights on trying to minimize or stop the bulkhead movement.
So, we replaced the thin wall steel support tubes that always bent or broke with thick wall swagged aluminum tie rods that are adjustable. After that we strategically placed on the bulkhead 3/8 aluminum bar stock and tied it into the front suspension area. These two items combined make for a very stiff front frame area.

ALWAYS REMEMBER GOOD FRONT SHOCKS ARE THE KEY TO LESS FRAME DAMAGE. PUTTING OUR KIT ON A SLED WITH WORN OUT SHOCKS COULD STILL CAUSE DAMAGE.
