For 2014/2015 race season the ISR requires a Rev Limiter in all 120 stock class racing. This rule still applies. The rule was put into place to equalize the engine RPMs between brands. 6850 rpm will be the limit setting. This was a long time request by many of the 120 racing groups, and was a combined effort with the manufactures and the ISR in order to create a fair playing field for all racers. The Rev Limiter will be powered by a 9 volt battery and be a simple 3 wire hook up.
NOTE: CONTACT YOUR RACING CIRCUIT FOR ANY GEARING CHANGES.
Rev limiter identification :
2C2P is for ALL POLARIS, ALL 2010 AND NEWER YAMAHA/ARCTIC CAT AND ALL SKIDOO MINI Z/MINI REV/MXZ 120. Part Number : ISR120RL
4C12P is for 2009 AND OLDER ARCTIC CAT Z/ZR. Part Number : ISR120RLS
Please Note: When installing the new ISR Rev Limiter you will find that our KOSO recall tach along with other brands will seem to scramble numbers when reaching the limiter RPMs, this is normal. The Vibratach (part #19200) tool will allow you to read RPMs accurately. It is a test tool used by several manufactures.
