The problem with stock 120 engines when used for racing is that their performance decreases as they get hot or heat soaked, add this to the fact that most 120 engines have around 3.9 HP on the dyno and you have a very poor performing engine. Preparing a stock engine will get it from 3.9 HP to around 4.2 to 4.5 HP, but the big gain is that the engine won't heat soak as easy, which means you have just as much power at the end of the race as you had at the start. Price includes a complete engine overhaul and dyno tuning. Stock race preps are done on a first come first serve basis. It is best to get them sent in early spring as we receive a large number of them.
